    Nice photos. Quick question, though, didn’t the originals also say Nike on the soles of the shoes?

    • Well they couldn’t make them exactly like the original or the resellers would be try to sell them as originals.

        I don’t think resellers could get away with that Drew being that the tag on the back of the tongue is screened on. The originals had the tags sewn on instead. Of course there are ways to get around that I guess.

    True heads can also tell OGs from make ups being that the OGs have slightly different elephant print patterns as well. This goes for the AJ IV splat pattern also.

    • I see what you’re saying, I’m guessing they are worried about young, inexperienced sneakerheads who are new to the game. They could easily get taken to the cleaners by dishonest people if the retros matched the originals.

      Nike and Jordan don’t want kids to have a bad experience buying retros/originals because that could sour them on the sneaker game and prevent Nike and Jordan from a lot of future sales.
