Reebok Kamikaze II “Oskar’s Kitchen”- First Look
There is no doubt the Reebok Kamikaze II has been one of the biggest retro releases for Reebok. The original Seattle colorway has remained sold out since early pre-orders. This non-OG colorway is sure to make a splash itself- pun intended.
The Reebok Kamikaze II “Oskar’s Kitchen” is inspired by Shawn Kemp’s restaurant in Seattle of the same name. The restaurant itself (and the shoes subsequently) are named after one of Kemp’s pets, a fish he keeps in an aquarium in the back of the restaurant. The official colorway is Geranium Red and Pure Silver, with the silver panels taking on a unique fish-scale texture. The insole features a cool fish print graphic as well carrying the theme.
I think these are pretty cool, I like shoes that tell a personal story like this… if you’re digging them too, you can pre-order now on eBay. Check out more pics after the jump. What do you guys think of this pair inspired by Kemp’s love for Oskar?
